Henckels is famous for its "Friodur" knife. High carbon, no-stain steel is ice hardened, ground and hand honed. Now it has been improved with new state-of-the art "S.C.T." (Sintermetal Component Technology) which bonds super hard structural steel in the tang to improved "edging" steel on the blade. The "Four Star" knives have a one piece comfortable polypropylene handle.
