It is equipped with an adjustable thermostat with a temperature range of 105 to 165 °F. This makes it ideal to operate at low temperatures and preserving active enzymes in fruits and vegetables. This temperature range is also high enough safely dehydrate meats for jerky. The unit turns on automatically when the thermostat is in use.
