A substantial layer of 18/10 stainless steel wraps entirely around the 7-layer core, giving the pan an overall thickness of 2.6 mm. The thick bottom insures that the pot retains its shape. Cast Iron handles are secured with stainless steel rivets for maximum strength. This cookware is designed for use on gas and electric as well as induction cooktops.
