Add the 2" diameter sphere mold to your collection. It is perfect for triple encapsulating the 1.5" sphere inside of the 2" sphere mold. With this mold, you can make two, 2" diameter spheres at once. Perfect for quick amenities and showpieces! When banded together, this specially designed two-part sphere mold registers so tightly together that only a small seam line is visible. This mold is great for sugar and chocolate.

Helpful Hint: This mold holds a large volume of sugar and silicone insulates heat. Be sure to pour the sugar as cool as possible in order to prevent the sugar from continuing to boil inside the mold.

Safety Hint: It is critical the user band the mold together tightly to prevent it from accidentally separating during use.

Our sphere molds are made of firm silicone and do not distort when they are banded together (wide rubber bands included). The two-part mold design allows the user to have open access the interior of the mold for encapsulation or casting perfect half spheres. The mold has 2 sub-compartments which allow the user to cast half spheres with rectangular or square plates attached to them. The half spheres with plates are great for posting beneath a showpiece base or to provide a little extra sugar mass (corners) for pulling a shape off of the half sphere. There are endless possibilities with this mold!
