Tadafusa Chef Knife (Gyuto)
These blades are forged with blue steel #2. The core is sandwiched between two layers of carbon steel that have been left with a rustic or nashiji (pear skin) finish. This helps prevent food from sticking to the blade when slicing items and offers a unique look. These carbon steel blades hold a keen edge and are exceptionally sharp. These one piece seamless handles are made from burnt chestnut wood and are finished beautifully. Note: The blades on these knives will develop a patina when used or rust and pit if not cared for properly.
