The body of this scale is water resistant and fully washable. It has a stainless steel body removable pan that is dishwasher safe. NSF listed, USDA-AMS accepted for food use and is supports HACCP certified systems. It has the ability to weigh in the following units of measure: pounds, ounces, pounds:ounces, grams, kilograms, fluid ounces, and baking percentages. Measures in increments of .05 ounces (or 1 gram) and up to 6 pounds (or 3000 grams.) This scale can be operated with four "C" batteries or the included AC power adapter. It has an easy to read backlit display and the platform size is 6" x 5".
