"Big Beni" Benriner Mandolin No. 95 - Professional Series

Professional model improvements:

  1. The new "thickness adjustment Dial" now helps to slice vegetables more evenly than the previous model. Makes amazing garnishes as thin as 0.5 mm up to a thickness of 8 mm.
  2. Addition of rubber base makes the device "anti-skid" and more stable.
  3. New ledge helps the Benriner clip on to bowls and trays, make slicing easier and more stable.

Besides the ultra-sharp stainless steel flat blade, the "Big Beni" also includes 3 interchangeable stainless steel blades for fine, medium, and coarse cuts.

Heavy ABS plastic. Popular with caterers and anyone who prefers the flexibility of this light weight, portable, yet fine instrument.

How to use finger guard

  • Please use finger guard for your protection.
  • Secure vegetable on the underside of finger guard.
  • Apply slight pressure on the finger guard and slice with even, back and forth strokes.

How to adjust thickness

  • Makes amazing garnishes as thin as 0.5mm to a thickness of 8mm. Adjusting the height of cutting board.
  • Check the space between the cutting board and the plain blade. Turn the dial in a clockwise direction to raise the cutting board and achieve a thinner slice. Turn anti-clockwise for a thicker slice. The dial will tighten as the gap is reduced. As the cutting board rises, the thickness adjustment dial will tighten up. If the cutting board sticks and does not move downwards when the dial is turned in an anti-clockwise direction, gently push on the cutting board to help achieve its correct position.
  • A large sized cabbage can be cut in half and sliced from the end.
