Knife guards protect your fingers from cuts and prevent the edge of the blade from dulling between uses. They’re usually made of plastic or wood and easily slide over the knife blade. This allows the chef to remain safe while storing his or her knives in a drawer or carrying them around. Knife guards are available in different sizes for a variety of blades.
